Matt Lohmann is an Assistant Principal at ADM High School and is celebrating 10 years at ADM this year.  He grew up in Sumner, IA, or as he calls it, “God’s Country.”  He received his BA from University of Northern Iowa and his MA from Viterbo University.  Prior to ADM, Matt was a Math Teacher and coach for Waukee Schools.  This is his 31st year in education.  He wanted to become a teacher because he wanted to help students learn, compete, and reach their highest potential.  He chose ADM because he lived here and his children attended school here, and he stays because of the people; the amazing staff, students, and parents.  Aside from these amazing people, what he enjoys most about his current role is watching our students excel in school and in their extracurricular activities.

Outside of school, Matt enjoys supporting his own kids and watching their activities.  He also enjoys participating in a few outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing.

Thank you, Matt Lohmann, for all you do and for your 10 years of service with ADM!
