Lindsay Watson is a Reading Interventionist at Meadow View Elementary and DeSoto Intermediate School. She is celebrating 10 years of service with ADM this year and 13 years in education. Prior to calling ADM home, she taught 2nd grade at Tipton Elementary School. She was also a 4th grade teacher for ADM prior to transitioning to her Reading Interventionist role a few years ago. Lindsay attended Wartburg College for her BA and received her MA from Walden University. She wanted to be a teacher because she wanted to impact kids. Lindsay chose ADM because, as she states, “The smiling faces of like-minded individuals around the tiny packed room of the old DeSoto Intermediate office/conference room won me over!” She stays because she has fantastic co-workers who want what is best for kids. She also feels the administration at ADM desires to never stop learning and growing. When Lindsay was asked what she loves most about her current role, she stated, “I enjoy being able to focus on the decoding portion of teaching children how to read. Looking at data to make decisions around student instruction is my jam.”
Outside of her classroom, Lindsay loves reading, playing tennis, and watching her kids’ activities.
Thank you, Lindsay Watson, for your passion for our young learners and for your 10 years of service with ADM!
