Jillian Heemstra joins ADM as a Seventh and Eighth Grade Science and Math Teacher at ADM Middle School! Jillian graduated from University of Northern Iowa and is starting her first year of teaching.
Jillian chose ADM because she wanted to be in a school district that prioritizes building strong relationships and values collaboration. She became a teacher because of the positive impact her teachers had on her growing up. She states, “Middle school is such an influential time and having teachers who help students feel welcome and understood during this pivotal time is so important. I hope that I am able to make an impact during a short, but important period of my students’ life.” In her free time, Jillian enjoys reading, baking, and hanging out with friends.
