Requests For Proposals to Purchase Minburn Building
The ADM School District is seeking requests for proposals to purchase a building located at 618 5th Street in Minburn, Iowa.
Why Is The Building For Sale?
Minburn Elementary was decommissioned as an elementary attendance center in 2010. After a lengthy facility master planning process in 2022-23, it was determined that in the event the city of Minburn could not take ownership of the building, it would be offered for sale to other prospective buyers.
How Is The Building Currently Used?
The building is primarily used to house a district hitting facility and the Minburn Library operates in the former school library area of the building.
What Is The Timeline For The Sale?
Offers must be received by ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe at the District office at 215 North 11th Street, Adel, IA 50003, before 12:00 p.m. on October 1, 2024.
