On Tuesday, Jan. 17th, six middle school band students were selected to participate in the Orpheus Middle School Honor Band at Simpson College. Seventh graders included Brooklyn Beebe (flute), Aubrey Noring (tenor saxophone), and Andrew Nelson (bari saxophone). Representing 8th grade was Abby Asche (trumpet), Jace Ozbun (tenor saxophone), and Sylvia Reynolds (trombone). The students worked hard preparing new music with area middle schoolers during the day to present an evening concert to their friends and families. It was a great day!!
