ADM is excited to announce that pending Board approval, Billie Veach has accepted the position of Food Service Director and will join ADM on July 1.
Mrs. Veach brings extensive leadership and experience to the School Nutrition Department at ADM. Billie has served as the Director of School Nutrition for the Nevada Community School District since 2020. Prior to working at Nevada, she served as the Purchase & Production Manager for the Waukee Community School District from 2010 through 2020.
Billie serves as the president-elect of the Iowa School Nutrition Association, is a member of the Iowa Commodity Advisory Committee, a member of the School Nutrition Association, and has served on various committees of the American Commodity Distribution Association. During Veach’s time at Nevada, she was instrumental in enhancing their summer meals program which resulted in the district receiving the Bronze Turnip the Beet award from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
When asked about her new position at ADM, Billie stated, “I am very excited for the opportunity to lead the Nutrition Department in serving nutritious meals alongside ensuring an environment that students and staff can learn and thrive in.”
“Billie is a proven leader in school food service. She is passionate about the integral role food and nutrition play in our pursuit of high levels of learning for all students,” said ADM Superintendent, Greg Dufoe. “We are excited to have her join our leadership team.”
